Website Verification Policy

How Meetlop confirms that your business email and website are genuine before granting dashboard access.

1. Business Email Verification

After registering with an email address on the same domain as your website, Meetlop sends a six-digit verification code to that address. You enter the code on the verification page to confirm the mailbox is genuinely yours. Meetlop does not use verification links for this step — a code entered manually is required. Free consumer email providers are never accepted; see Section 4 of our Terms and Conditions for the full list.

2. Website Ownership Verification

Once your email is verified, Meetlop issues a unique verification snippet containing a permanent tracking identifier, for example:

<meta name="meetlop-verification" content="MLP-7F82A91C">

You place this snippet on a page of your website and submit that page's URL to Meetlop. Our crawler then visits the page to confirm the snippet is present and rendered as do-follow. Once confirmed, your website is marked verified and the specific page URL is recorded so Meetlop can detect if the snippet is later removed.

3. Verification Timing

Website ownership verification is typically completed within minutes of submission, though it may take longer if your website is temporarily unreachable. You cannot access the Meetlop dashboard until both your email and your website have been verified.

4. Reverification

Meetlop periodically reconfirms that your verification snippet remains present on the submitted page. If it is found missing, your account may be flagged, restricted from new backlink requests, and asked to restore the snippet or re-verify before resuming full activity.

5. Changing Domains

If you need to move your account to a different website or domain, contact help@meetlop.com. Domain changes require a fresh business-email match and a new website-ownership verification, and existing backlink assignments tied to the old domain may need to be reassigned or reissued.

6. Failed & Rejected Verification

Verification fails if the email domain does not match the website domain, if the snippet cannot be found on the submitted page, if the snippet is not do-follow, or if the website is unreachable, parked, or otherwise does not meet Meetlop's eligibility standards. Rejected registrations may be resubmitted once the underlying issue is corrected.
