1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Meetlop ("Meetlop," "we," "us," "our"), the operator of the backlink collaboration network at meetlop.com. By creating an account, verifying a website, requesting a backlink, or otherwise using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not register for or use Meetlop.
Meetlop may update these Terms from time to time as described in Section 17. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use Meetlop. You must also own, operate, or be duly authorized to represent the website you register on the platform. Meetlop is intended for website owners, bloggers, publishers, startups, agencies, universities, organizations, and content creators acting in a business or professional capacity, not for personal or throwaway websites created solely to exploit the points economy.
3. Account Registration
Each individual or organization may hold one verified account and one verified website under Version 1 of the platform. During registration you must provide accurate information, including a display name, username, website URL, website category, primary niche, and a domain-matching business email address. You are responsible for keeping this information current and for all activity that occurs under your account and credentials.
4. Business Email Requirement
Meetlop requires every account to be registered with an email address at the same domain as the registered website (for example, hello@example.com for https://example.com). Free consumer email providers, including but not limited to Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail, Proton, iCloud, AOL, Yandex, and Zoho, are not accepted for registration. Registrations that fail this domain match are automatically rejected. This requirement exists to confirm that every account is tied to a genuine, operational website rather than a disposable identity.
5. Website & Domain Verification
Before you can access the dashboard, you must complete two verification steps: (a) confirming your business email using a six-digit verification code, and (b) proving ownership of your website by placing a unique Meetlop verification snippet on a page of your choosing and submitting that page for review. Meetlop's crawler will confirm that the snippet, including its unique tracking identifier, is present, do-follow, and accessible before marking your website as verified. You agree not to remove this verification snippet while your account remains active, and you acknowledge that Meetlop keeps a record of the page on which it was placed so that removal can be detected. Full detail on this process is available in our Website Verification Policy.
6. User Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate account, website, and payment information.
- Place and preserve assigned backlinks exactly as instructed, including anchor text, target URL, and tracking identifier.
- Respond to link-health warnings within the timeframes described in our Account Suspension Policy.
- Keep your submitted pages publicly accessible, indexable, and free of manipulation designed to defeat automated verification.
- Use the points you earn honestly, and not attempt to transfer, sell, or manipulate your balance outside the mechanisms Meetlop provides.
7. Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited on Meetlop:
- Registering with fake, parked, expired, or redirect-only websites.
- Hiding backlinks using CSS, invisible text, or placement outside normal page flow.
- Converting an assigned do-follow backlink to
nofollow, sponsored, orugcafter verification. - Removing, replacing, or altering an assigned backlink, anchor text, or target URL after it has been verified.
- Creating multiple accounts, including multiple accounts tied to the same underlying domain or organization.
- Submitting spam, adult, malware, phishing, or otherwise illegal content on a linking page.
- Manipulating, spoofing, or attempting to interfere with Meetlop's crawler, tracking identifiers, or verification systems.
A full list of disallowed behavior appears in our Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Fraud Detection & Backlink Monitoring
You acknowledge and agree that Meetlop continuously and automatically monitors every backlink on the network — immediately after submission, and on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules thereafter — to confirm that it remains live, do-follow, correctly attributed, and visible. By using Meetlop you consent to this automated crawling of pages you have submitted for verification. Meetlop also runs automated fraud-detection routines to identify patterns such as rapid addition and removal of links, hidden or cloaked links, JavaScript-injected links, and reciprocal abuse between accounts. Activity flagged by these systems may reduce your Trust Score, trigger a warning, or lead to suspension as described in Section 13.
9. Tracking IDs & Trust Score
Every backlink assigned or placed through Meetlop carries a unique, permanent tracking identifier that cannot be reused or edited. You agree not to strip, duplicate, or forge a tracking identifier. Every account also carries a Trust Score between 0 and 100, beginning at 80, which rises with verified links and long-term good conduct and falls following broken links, nofollow manipulation, spam, or repeated warnings. Trust Score affects the speed and priority of backlink assignments you receive.
10. Points System
Meetlop operates on an internal, non-monetary points economy described fully in our Points System Policy. In summary: verified accounts receive a 100-point welcome bonus, requesting a backlink for your own website costs 10 points per backlink, and each verified, active, do-follow backlink you host earns 5 points per month for as long as it remains healthy. Points have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred between accounts, or exchanged for currency, and may be adjusted by Meetlop administrators to correct errors or penalize fraud.
11. Promotions & Payments
Users who wish to accelerate backlink placement may purchase promotion packages (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, or Enterprise) as described in our Promotion Policy. Payments are processed through Flutterwave, Paystack, or PayPal, and are governed additionally by our Payment Terms. Promoted placements receive priority in the assignment engine but do not guarantee search-engine rankings, indexing, or traffic; see our Disclaimer.
12. Refunds
Refund eligibility for promotion purchases, failed payments, and duplicate charges is governed by our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.
13. Suspension, Permanent Ban & Appeals
Meetlop applies a graduated penalty system: an initial friendly notification, a follow-up reminder after three days, a final warning after seven days, temporary suspension of new backlink requests, and, only after repeated or intentional abuse, permanent account deletion. Full detail, including how to appeal a decision, is set out in our Account Suspension Policy. Meetlop administrators retain discretion to override any penalty stage where evidence warrants it.
14. Intellectual Property
The Meetlop name, logo, platform design, verification snippets, tracking-identifier system, and underlying software are the property of Meetlop and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content on your own website. By placing an assigned backlink, you grant the corresponding user a limited license to reference the agreed anchor text and target URL for as long as the assignment remains active. Claims of copyright infringement should be submitted under our DMCA / Copyright Policy.
15. Limitation of Liability
Meetlop is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meetlop and its officers, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of traffic, rankings, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the platform. Meetlop does not guarantee any specific SEO outcome; see our Disclaimer for detail. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
16. Governing Law & Changes to These Terms
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Meetlop is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law provides otherwise. Meetlop may revise these Terms periodically; material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of them.
