Our Story
Meetlop started from a simple observation: most backlink marketplaces sell links, not relationships. A buyer pays, a placement appears, and neither side has much reason to care what happens to it afterward. That model produces a predictable set of problems, and we built Meetlop specifically to avoid them.
Cash-for-links marketplaces reward volume over relevance. When the transaction is just "pay this amount, get this link," there's no mechanism pushing either side toward topical fit, editorial quality, or long-term site health — only toward closing the sale. That pressure is what produces link farms, private blog networks, and directories stuffed with content nobody reads.
Reciprocal link exchanges have a different failure mode. Two site owners agree to link to each other, the links go live, and then nobody checks on them again. Anchor text drifts, pages get deleted, links quietly turn nofollow, and both parties are often the last to know because there was never a system watching the relationship after the handshake.
And underneath both models sits a harder problem: verification. Anyone can claim to own a website. Anyone can list a "publisher profile" with inflated traffic numbers or a domain that was expired and repurposed six months ago purely to host outbound links. Without real ownership verification and ongoing monitoring, a marketplace has no way to tell a genuine, actively maintained website from a shell built to game a listing.
Meetlop exists to replace that guesswork with verification, and to replace the one-time transaction with an ongoing, monitored relationship. Every account on Meetlop is tied to a real, verified website and a business email that matches its domain. Every placement is tracked with a permanent identifier and re-checked by our crawler on a recurring basis — not just once at signup. That's the foundation everything else on the platform is built on.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make backlink building something website owners can trust, rather than something they have to be wary of. That mission rests on six commitments that shape every feature we build.
Transparency
Every assignment shows exactly why it was made, what's expected, and what happens next — no hidden scoring, no unexplained rejections.
Fairness
The assignment engine distributes opportunities across the marketplace instead of concentrating them with whoever spends the most.
Quality
Verified ownership, real categories and niches, and recurring crawler checks keep the network built from genuine, maintained websites.
Automation
Matching, verification, and monthly rechecking run on schedules and rules, not manual review queues that fall behind.
Trust
Trust Score gives every account a living reputation that reflects real conduct, not a one-time application form.
Long-Term Partnerships
We optimize for links that stay healthy for months, not for a placement count that looks good on the day it's sold.
How Meetlop Works
Meetlop is a full lifecycle, from the moment you register to the ongoing monitoring of every link you send or receive. Here is the complete path.
Registration
You create an account with your business email and select your website's category and primary niche, which the assignment engine will later use for matching.
Business Email Verification
A verification code is sent to your business email address. A domain-matching email is required — it's our first signal that you actually control the site you're registering.
Website Verification
You place a unique Meetlop verification snippet on your site. Our crawler confirms it's present and reachable before your website is marked verified.
Trust Score Assignment
Once verified, your account receives a starting Trust Score, which will move over time based on link health and platform conduct.
Welcome Bonus
A one-time welcome bonus is credited to your Points Wallet so you can make your first backlink request right away.
Points Wallet
Your wallet tracks every point you earn and spend, with a full running history you can review at any time.
Request Backlinks
You request the number of backlinks you need. The request is queued for the assignment engine to process.
Assignment Engine
The engine matches your request against eligible websites using category, niche, promotion status, Trust Score, and workload balancing.
Publisher Receives Assignment
The matched website owner receives the assignment with the target URL, suggested anchor text, and a placement deadline.
Publisher Places Backlink
The publisher adds the link to their page and submits the live URL back to Meetlop for verification.
Crawler Verification
Our crawler visits the submitted page and confirms the tracking ID, target URL, anchor text, and dofollow status all match what was assigned.
Monthly Verification
Every verified backlink is rechecked on a recurring monthly schedule, so a link's status reflects its current state, not just its state on day one.
Monthly Rewards
Publishers hosting a link that passes its monthly recheck earn points for keeping it live, dofollow, and intact.
Marketplace Intelligence
Every verification event feeds into your Marketplace Score, which reflects your account's ongoing quality and reliability.
Continuous Monitoring
The cycle doesn't stop at verification — Meetlop keeps watching every link in the network for as long as it exists.
Intelligent Assignment Engine
Every backlink request on Meetlop passes through an AI-assisted assignment engine — a rules-based matching system layered with weighted intelligent ranking, rather than a simple first-come, first-served queue. It's designed to be explainable: every assignment can be traced back to the specific factors that produced it.
Same Niche Matching
The engine first looks for eligible websites in your exact niche, since topical relevance is the strongest signal of a natural, useful link.
Same Category Matching
When a niche-level match isn't available, the engine widens the search to your broader category before looking any further afield.
Fallback Matching
If neither produces enough eligible partners, the engine intelligently draws from related categories so requests don't stall for lack of an exact match.
Promotion Priority
Websites with an active promotion receive a meaningfully higher probability of being selected within their eligible pool — never a guaranteed slot.
Trust Score Weighting
Trust Score acts as a secondary ranking factor, giving consistently reliable accounts a natural edge among otherwise similar candidates.
Duplicate Prevention
The engine checks recent assignment history so the same pair of websites isn't matched together repeatedly in a short window.
Circular Assignment Prevention
If website A is already placing a link for website B, the engine blocks B from immediately being assigned back to A, preventing artificial reciprocal loops.
Workload Balancing
Assignments are spread across eligible publishers rather than repeatedly stacked on the same few accounts.
Publisher Selection
Within each eligible pool, the engine selects a publisher using the combined weighting of relevance, promotion, and Trust Score described above.
Assignment Queue & Fair Distribution
Requests are processed in order, with the same matching rules applied consistently to every account regardless of size or tenure on the platform.
Marketplace Intelligence
Marketplace Intelligence is the layer that turns raw verification data into a live picture of each account's standing. Its central output is the Marketplace Score, built from three components.
Content Quality
Reflects the pages your links are placed on and point to — whether they're substantive, maintained, and appropriate for the niche they claim.
Publisher Reliability
Tracks how consistently you place assigned backlinks correctly and on time, and how often your placements pass verification on the first attempt.
Link Quality
Measures whether links you host stay live, dofollow, and correctly attributed over successive monthly rechecks, rather than degrading after the first check.
Each component is calculated from the verification events the platform already generates — crawler results, monthly recheck outcomes, submission accuracy, and warning history — so the score updates automatically as your account is used, without any manual review step.
These scores matter because they're not just informational. A stronger Marketplace Score signals to the assignment engine that your website is a dependable partner, which factors into how you're weighted against otherwise similar candidates. In short: the way you treat the links you host today shapes the assignments you're offered tomorrow.
Trust & Safety
Trust and safety on Meetlop isn't a single checkpoint — it's layered through onboarding, placement, and the entire lifetime of every link.
Email Verification
Confirms your business email is real and under your control before your account can do anything else.
Website Verification
Confirms you actually own or control the website you've registered, not just that you typed a domain into a form.
Verification Snippets
A unique snippet tied to your account is what our crawler looks for to confirm ownership and, later, link integrity.
Tracking IDs
Every backlink carries a permanent, unique identifier so it can be reliably located and reverified indefinitely.
Monthly Crawlers
Scheduled crawls revisit every live backlink on a recurring basis, not just once at initial verification.
Spam Prevention
Rate limits and pattern checks around registration and verification activity make automated abuse impractical.
Fraud Detection
Unusual account or payment activity is flagged for review rather than processed silently.
Fake Backlink Detection
Submissions are checked against the actual live page — a link that isn't really there is never counted as verified.
Anchor Validation
The crawler confirms the anchor text placed matches what was assigned, catching accidental or intentional drift.
Dofollow Validation
Every check confirms link attribute status, since a link that silently turns nofollow no longer delivers what was assigned.
Broken Link Detection
Pages that return errors or have been removed are identified automatically at the next scheduled recheck.
Warnings & Suspensions
Issues escalate through clear, staged notifications before any suspension, with an appeals process available throughout.
Points Economy
Points are Meetlop's internal currency. They're what you spend to request backlinks, and what you earn by being a reliable, active part of the marketplace.
Welcome Bonus
New accounts receive a one-time bonus once email and website verification are both complete, so you can make your first request immediately.
Monthly Rewards
Every backlink you host that passes its monthly recheck — live, dofollow, and correctly attributed — earns points for that period.
Backlink Request Cost
Requesting backlinks spends points from your wallet, scaled by how many placements you're asking for.
Hosting Backlinks
Placing and maintaining backlinks assigned to you is the other side of the economy — it's how most accounts earn points over time.
Verified vs. Failed Links
Only links that pass crawler verification count toward rewards; links that fail — broken, removed, or altered — simply earn nothing for that cycle rather than penalizing you outright.
Points History
Your wallet keeps a complete, dated record of every point earned or spent, so your balance is never a mystery.
Points are earned primarily through genuine platform activity — verified placements and reliable hosting — which is what keeps the marketplace built on real usage rather than idle accounts. For members who want to move faster, points can also be purchased directly and used the same way: to fund backlink requests or to activate a promotion on a website you own. Either path spends the same currency, in the same marketplace, under the same verification rules.
Promotions
Promotion is a way to spend points to increase a specific website's visibility within the assignment engine. It's applied per website, not per account, so you choose exactly which site benefits.
A short, affordable visibility boost — a good way to see how promotion affects your assignment flow.
A longer, stronger boost for websites actively building out their backlink profile month over month.
The highest priority multiplier available, for accounts that want maximum visibility in the assignment pool.
It's important to be precise about what promotion does and doesn't do: it increases the probability that a promoted website is selected by the assignment engine relative to other eligible candidates. It does not guarantee a fixed number of placements, and it has no effect whatsoever on search engine rankings. Promotion is entirely internal to how Meetlop routes assignments — nothing more.
Why Meetlop Is Different
The table below lays out, plainly, how Meetlop's model compares to a typical cash-for-links marketplace.
| Traditional Backlink Marketplaces | Meetlop |
|---|---|
| Ownership is rarely verified beyond a listing form | Business email and website ownership are both verified before an account can operate |
| Links are checked once, if at all, at the time of sale | Every link is rechecked on a recurring monthly schedule for its entire lifetime |
| Matching is based on who pays, not topical fit | Matching starts with niche and category relevance, with points spent based on volume, not bids |
| No visibility into why a placement happened | Every assignment is traceable to specific, explainable matching factors |
| Publisher quality is self-reported | Publisher Reliability and Link Quality are measured continuously from real verification data |
| Anchor text and target URLs can drift unnoticed | Anchor text and dofollow status are validated against the live page on every check |
| Reputation is static or nonexistent | Trust Score moves continuously based on real conduct and link health |
| Reciprocal exchanges risk circular, low-value link loops | The assignment engine actively detects and blocks circular and duplicate pairings |
| Broken or removed links usually go unnoticed by the buyer | Broken links are surfaced automatically at the next scheduled recheck |
| Higher spend can buy an outright guaranteed placement | Promotion increases selection probability but never guarantees a placement, keeping the pool fair |
| Disputes and violations have no defined process | Issues escalate through staged warnings, with suspensions and a formal appeals process |

Our Technology
Meetlop is built on Laravel, using a modern, modular architecture designed for the kind of continuous, automated work the platform depends on.
- Background jobs and queue processing handle crawling, verification, and notifications without blocking the parts of the app you're actively using.
- Scheduled tasks drive monthly link rechecking automatically, on a consistent cadence, without manual triggering.
- The assignment engine runs as an isolated matching service, so its logic can evolve without destabilizing the rest of the platform.
- Marketplace Intelligence scoring is computed from stored verification history, kept current as new events come in.
- Continuous monitoring means the system is always watching link health in the background, not only when you happen to check.
- Security practices include hashed credentials, rate-limited authentication, and validated input across every endpoint.
- The architecture is built to scale horizontally as the marketplace and its verification workload grow.
Our Vision
What exists today is the foundation. Here's where we're taking it next.
- Support for multiple verified websites under a single account.
- A public API for requesting backlinks and reading verification status programmatically.
- A browser extension for faster verification and placement submission.
- AI-generated matching recommendations that go beyond category and niche alone.
- Optional public publisher profiles, so reputation can be showcased outside the platform.
- Deeper analytics covering link velocity, anchor distribution, and portfolio health over time.
- Marketplace-wide rankings that recognize the most reliable publishers.
- Continued automation, so more of the verification and matching workload requires zero manual effort on your part.
Our Commitment
Quality
We'd rather have a smaller, verified network than a large, unmonitored one.

Transparency
How matching, scoring, and points work is documented, not hidden behind a black box.
Innovation
The assignment engine and Marketplace Intelligence will keep improving as the platform grows.
Security
Account and payment security are treated as foundational, not optional.
Community
A marketplace is only as good as the people in it — we build for the community that shows up and plays fair.
Join Meetlop
Meetlop is built for anyone with a real website and something worth linking to.
Meetlop is what we believe a backlink marketplace should have been from the start: verified, monitored, and fair to everyone participating in it. We built the verification, the assignment engine, and Marketplace Intelligence because trust shouldn't be an afterthought in a system built around links — it should be the foundation everything else stands on. That's the platform we're continuing to build.
