Account Suspension Policy

The graduated warning system Meetlop uses before suspending or permanently deleting an account, and how to appeal.

Effective date: January 1, 2026 Last updated: January 1, 2026
MLP-LEGAL-14.1

1. Our Approach

Meetlop believes most link-health problems are honest mistakes rather than deliberate manipulation. Accounts are never suspended immediately for a first-time, low-severity issue. Instead, we use a graduated system that gives you a fair opportunity to fix a problem before any restriction is applied.

2. The Five Warning Levels

  • Level 1 — Notification. An issue is detected (for example, a broken or nofollow link) and you receive a friendly in-app notification asking you to fix it.
  • Level 2 — Reminder (Day 3). If unresolved after three days, a reminder notification is sent.
  • Level 3 — Final Warning (Day 7). If still unresolved after seven days, a final warning is issued.
  • Level 4 — Temporary Suspension. Continued non-compliance results in temporary suspension of your ability to request new backlinks until the issue is corrected.
  • Level 5 — Permanent Deletion. Reserved for repeated abuse, intentional manipulation, or severe Terms violations.

3. Common Reasons for Suspension

  • Repeated broken, removed, or nofollow-converted backlinks left unresolved past Level 3.
  • Confirmed fraud-detection findings, such as hidden or cloaked links.
  • Trust Score abuse or coordinated reciprocal exchange manipulation.
  • Multiple accounts tied to the same domain or organization.
  • Violations of the Acceptable Use Policy or Community Guidelines.

4. Immediate Suspension

Severe violations — such as hosting malware, phishing, or illegal content, or a confirmed payment chargeback dispute — may result in immediate suspension without progressing through Levels 1–3, given the risk such content poses to other members.

5. Appeals Process

If your account is suspended or scheduled for deletion, you may appeal by emailing help@meetlop.com with your username and an explanation of the circumstances. Meetlop administrators review the crawl history, activity logs, and any evidence you provide before making a final decision.

6. Admin Override

Administrators may apply, skip, or reverse any penalty level where the evidence warrants it, in either direction — including expediting suspension for severe cases or reinstating an account after a successful appeal.
